I mean the teams all have 2 drivers and everybody tries to get as many points as possible, with the higher placed driver in the WDC standings preferably finishing in front. Mostly team order is not necessary as usually one driver adapts better to the package/and/or is superior to the other driver. Basically MICHAEL, FERNANDO, KIMI, JENSON, MARK to name a few are generally faster/more consistent/skilled than their team mates.

Re.FERNANDOs statement, there's nothing outrageous about it, simply claiming it would help if FISICO did as good a job as does FELIPE. He's right here and it's human he hadnt talked about this when leading the WDC by 25pts.

Fisico and Massa have done a pretty similar job as their respective points totals attest [eg: Massa 50 pts; Fisico 49 pts].

My point is that I didn't see this huge criticism of Fisico in Alonso's remark yet the media took it and tried to make it out as a glowing indictment of Fisico's failure as a teammate. It was clearly slanted to "sell more papers" as it were.

So, to summarize, I am saying the sport media, much too often these days, tries to turn professional sports into a soap-opera. Fortunately, all of the rivalries in Formula 1 right now are strictly sporting. Does that make sense?

I understand what you are saying, but just as I tried to explain there is a different view to this.

As a matter of fact FELIPE took many more points away from FERNANDO than FISICO from MICHAEL, period. There was no hype in the press about this whatsover, simply a quoting of the Champ.

I agree that the drivers are very sporting in general.

You both have valid points.
Now in my humble opinion, the best driver out there is Mark Webber.
How many times in a season has ne been bested by a team-mate, when he has not had a burned bum ?

:that: I totally agree with you. I am sure that if Mark had a decent car he would be in the points most weeks.

At least the interest in the F1 season has returned. The first half looked like another Alonso benefit season, now the question is, "Will Michael get close enough to with the WDC before he retires?"

Don't know about KI for a F1 race. Still got a few dirt roads. Good for quadbiking. Would need a bit of work to hold an F1 race there. :ROTFLMAO:

Since when do you need more than 5 pages to discuss the fact that Alonso was dominating F1 racing this year and now Michael Schumacher is now catching him???????????
