Well, my point was that if Webber had pitted first then his and Nick's finishing positions may have been reversed.


However, on further thinking, Webber had a ton of laps to get past Alonso before the last pitstops even came up and I doubt it was that much easier to do later on when Nick did it first.


Maybe this explains my other question about why Williams pitted Nick first. They saw Webber couldn't/wouldn't pass Alonso and so decided to give Nick a crack at it.


Taking all this into consideration I think Nick and Mark finished where they deserved too. I think we are yet to see the best from Webber though - he's still yet to have a perfect race with respect to either skill or luck. I think when he does eventually impress Frank and the rest of the team, and himself for that matter, that a huge weight will be lifted from his shoulders and he'll relax and do much better than he has so far. It's great to see he has a first rate team mate too. I think choosing Heidfeld over Pizzonia has turned out to be a good call.
