That would be Stan "Pinetree" Meads. The entire Welsh Front row have sinus problems at the mention of "Pinetrees"

Don't forget his daily rations of carrots and perhaps the occasional carrot juice. Not too many pellets. Lots of water. He should be trim in no time. Perhaps a bunny treadmill would help too.

Just a thought.....would the sound of a 10 gauge Greener, and baying hounds help to focus the "Thang" on exercise??

Strong possibility...... it is what they use at my gym to keep us working.

The groups for the cricket world cup.

Group A: Australia, South Africa, Scotland, Netherlands.

Group B: Sri Lanki, India, Bangladesh, Bermuda.

Group C: New Zealand, England, Kenya, Canada.

Group D: Pakistan, West Indies, Zimbabwe, Ireland.

The top two sides in each group qualify for the super 8 stage.

In super 8 all sides play against the six sides they they haven't played yet. ie Australia won't play South Africa again, Sri Lanki won't play India.etc. Points from the two side that qualify from each group carry over into the top eight.

The top four sides play in the semi finals. 1st v 4th and 2nd v 3rd.

The first match in the cricket world cup starts early tomorrow morning (NZ time) between Pakistan and the West Indies. A very hard match to predict the outcome as both sides can hit the self destruct button.

I'm going to pick whoever bowls first to win it.

West Indies have won the first match in this years world cup. Batting first they scored 241/9 in fifty overs including 57 runs in their last 5 overs. Pakistan batted poorly and only scored 187 in reply.

Tonights games see Australia play Scotland. This game will be too easy for Australia. The other game tonight is between Kenya and Canada. Kenya should win this game.

An easy win for Australia over Scotland. Australia scored 334/6 in 50 overs then dismissed Scotland for 131.

In the other game Canada scored 199. Kenya passed that mark after 43.2 overs and lost only three wickets in the process.

Tonights games see Sri Lanka playing Bermuda. Sri Lanka should have a very easy win. Zimbabwe play Ireland. I'm picking a big upset in this game by picking Ireland to win.
