Franchitti and Kanaan running 1-2, starting to open up a little gap to third; four-way fight for 3rd btwn. Dixon, Wheldon, Schectker and Patrick

And we're official; passing lap 101 as the flagstarter gives the crossed greens, indicating halfway..........top-5 at the moment are Franchitti, Kanaan, Wheldon, Dixon and Scheckter

Patrick and Hornish continuing to fight for position; the two just drafted past Patrick's teammate Marco Andretti for 6th, as Marco had to lift just a bit exiting four

Patrick now dicing with Dixon for 5th/6th; the two are side-by-side around the track.......

Patrick still side-by-side w/Dixon; watching the feed, it looks like a give-and-take fight(Patrick pulls ahead of Dixon, then loses a little bit, then regains a little bit, etc.); Hornish now getting up behind Patrick and finally, she gets by Dixon w/a little help from the #6 car

Wheldon and Scheckter almost touch entering turn 3; Kanaan gets a bit of separation from them; now Patrick catches up to Wheldon, Scheckter just ahead of them

Franchitti continues to lead, but there is a 3-way fight for second.........................CAUTION'S OUT!! Crash in turn 3; Darren Manning the only driver involved; looks like the rear end snapped out from him in three and he made hard contact w/the outside wall

Delphi personnel arrive; Manning's okay........

Pits are open; another round of stops expected......

Several 2 and 3-wide battles for position; the front-10 are separated by less than 3/5ths' of a second!

There's something I haven't seen for a while......5-wide through 1 and 2, several cars had to lift exiting and looks like Tomas Scheckter was the big loser as he falls from 3rd to 7th; on the flip side, Danica Patrick vaulted up from 8th to 3rd through all that dicing

BIG CRASH!! Franchitti and Wheldon touch wheels and Franchitti flips!! 6 cars involved....Wheldon, Franchitti, Dixon involved; Foyt, IV also involved as well as Carpenter and Hornish..........

Safety crews out in force..........Franchitti's out of his car; Hornish is out of the car........both are walking over to the safety crews apparently uninjured.............

Looks as though everyone made it.............although everybody's hearts(mine included!!!!) skipped multiple beats wondering if everyone's alright.........there will be big implications in the championship points battle
