that's good, specially for McLaren!! =)Ed wrote:Hard to know really. Most were doing 15 to 18 lap stints but the high number of laps done by the BAR team is a positive for them no doubt.
What is interesting is that Button's record lap was the first of 6 laps on that stint!. Several other Michelin runners had the same pattern setting their quickest time at the start of the stint rather than towards the end. They are obviously testing a tyre compound that is has a lot of grip in the first lap!.
