New Zealand had an easy seven wicket win over the West Indies today. West Indies only made 177.
Tonight England should thrash Ireland.

As expected England had an easy win over Ireland. England scored 266/7 and won by 48 runs.
Tonight Australia should thrash Bangladesh.

Bangladesh made only 104/6 in a rain shortened 22 over a side match. Australia made that total without losing a wicket.
Big game tonight with the West Indies playing Sri Lanla. If West Indies don't win it then they will need to win all of their remaining matches and/or rely on other matches to make it into the semi finals.

Sri Lanka had an easy 113 run win over the West Indies today. Sri Lanka scored 303/5. The West Indies must now win all of their remaining games. The run home for the West Indies in order is against South Africa, Bangladesh and England.
Tonight New Zealand play Bangladesh.

An easy nine wicket win for New Zealand. Bangladesh made only 174 and New Zealand passed that score after 29.2 overs.
Tonight South Africa should thrash Ireland.

South Africa beat Ireland by seven wickets under the D/L method. It's amazing how many matches have been affected by rain.
Very big game tonight. England play Sri Lanka. Not only will the two sides playing take note of this result, it will effect in some ways all teams. West Indies, Ireland and Bangladesh will hope England win. New Zealand, South Africa and Australia will get an idea of how many points are needed to get into the semifinals and what position in the semifinals.

In what I consider to be the best match so far at the world cup Sri Lanka beat England by two runs. Bopara for England needed to score three runs of the last ball of the match to win it for England.
It's starting to look like the semifinalists will be Sri Lanka,Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
6pts Sri Lanka, Australia and New Zealand.
4pts South Africa
2pts England, West Indies
0pts Ireland Bangladesh.
Next game in two days time is between Bangladesh and South Africa.

Big upset in todays game with Bangladesh beating South Africa by 67 runs.
Bangladesh scored 251/8 after being sent in to bat. South Africa never looked like they had a chance of reaching that score.
Tonight England play Australia in what should be an interesting game.

Australia had a comfortable seven wicket win over England. England made 247. It should have been alot more than this score but poor batting by Englands tail meant this is all England got.
Tonights game: New Zealand play Ireland.

New Zealand have beaten Ireland by 129 runs after making 263/8. At one stage New Zealand were 189/7 after 43 overs.
Big game tonight as South Africa play West Indies.
All sides have three games left to play in super eights.
