According to SpeedTV's resident NA open-wheel curmudgeon/expert analyst Robin Miller, you can now refer to Scott Speed as "that guy who formerly drove for Toro Rosso"; according to Miller's article on the site(the link will be at the end of this post) Speed has been given his walking papers Monday by the team following the European GP at the Nurburgring.......there's also a mention about Speed's future w/the team on the ar1.com site(link to be listed below) where Speed's father denies that his son was fired(which is also mentioned in the Speed article as well.........)

If the reporting I read is accurate you can replace "got into an altercation with" with "got physically assaulted by"... Does not change the end result.

Could be true but from what I read it was more along the lines of pushing and shoving.

In the US so much as looking at the guy funny may constitute an assault charge... But Speed has been with Europeans quite a bit since his F1 career started :)
