All the best,

Steve
I´ve also heard tickets are cheap and available but I´ve not been able to get any info about access from the official circuit site I´m hoping/guessing they´ll be available at the gate. I live not far away too so will also be heading down there friday or Saturday.

For the first test at Jerez, all the teams with the exception of Lotus, Campos and USF1

It is expected that Lotus will show up at the second test.

Hope this helps and welcome to our Forums

Welcome to the forums, Astar83! Feel free to browse any of the various sections; if there's any questions, don't be afraid to ask. :)

As for the teams testing, Ed's right. All the teams except Lotus, Campos, and USF1 will be at Jerez. As for USF1..........

USF1 to Make Test Debut in America
According to the above article back in early January(so take its' info with a grain of salt.. ) , the FIA will allow USF1 to run its' debut test in the U.S. at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama*. The team's expected to run three tests, beginning in early February before joining the rest of the F1 circus in Europe prior to the start of the 2010 season.

*note----that's the location everyone keeps saying but there isn't any certainty on that. This time of year in North America, about the only places one could test at are Barber, Sebring, Road Atlanta and the roval at Homestead. Every other race facility of merit in North America is either going to be covered in snow or the weather'll be too cold to run a decent test.

The Wayward Tarheel I'm even in the blogosphere....

He arrives, drives the car for the very first time, tops the timesheets after a handful of laps, betters his teammate's time and sets the best time in Valencia this year by 3 tenths.
And he is yet to extract full potential of the car.

Good to see you back in a quick car
I'm back and yes supporting Alonso "The Cute" in the Ferrari!

You can attend the Jerez tests. You will need to purchase tickets from the ticket office on the day. Entry is 5 Euros. You can find more information at http://www.circuitodejerez.com.

:D I'm very impressed, like Jay Vee, with the master's demonstration of the new red car's mettle. What is even MORE impressive is the TOTAL DOMINANCE of the Ferrari powerplant. The first four fastest times (Alonso's Massa's, Kobayashi's and de la Rosa's are ALL Ferrari powered! The first Merc is Hamilton's at 5th followed by Robert Kubica's RENAULT at 6th fastest. Michael's Merc is only 7th followed by the blink of an eye by the OTHER Spaniard's FERRARI powered Toro Rosso!

Down at the bottom is the first of the moving chicanes this year, the Cosworth powered Williams. Sad. Sad.

And we haven't even glimpsed the Red Bull's yet, again powered by the reliable RENAULT engine!! And remember RBR/Renault racing last year got 6 wins, 5 poles and 6 fast laps!! If there had been two more races last year I think Seb would have eclipsed the Jense and Red Bull for sure would have taken the manufacturers' trophy.

Much as I love Mercedes Silver Machines and remember the great days with Fangio and Moss, I fear this year the Ross and his favorite driver may have run out of their famous racing luck.

And doesn't THAT bode well for F1: to have McLaren and Mercedes chewing away for the final step on the podium and third place in the manufacturer's trophy race!

So here's to Red Bull  They have shown the others how to build a winner.

Well I hope Massa wipes the floor with him. Have no time for the Big A

I also hope we don't see one team dominating the start of the season and I'd like to see the podium winners changing each race making the GP more interesting.

Yuk. Not good for the type of testing they want to be doing. They obvviously will gain some wet weather data from this but I think they would prefer dry weatehr data.

At least they are not here where it is snowing now and that's the forecast all week. With temperatures not going above freezing.

Red Bull seems to have mechanical problems:

11:23 The recovery truck has been despatched to collect the Red Bull. Webber has climbed out of the car and had a good look at its rear end.
