I'm ready to let this go, but I want to clear up a few points first. Please read on:
Redhead wrote:And I am so sorry that i have been insulting and emotional, I think it might about the third time RE30B#16 described my original post as "rubbish" that I realised how emotional I was becoming.
Actually, Redhead, I used the word "rubbish" twice in the same paragraph in one post, and I was not using it to describe your original post. Here's what I said:
When Schumacher won his first 2 championships for Benetton, everyone said he did it in a car that was inferior. That was rubbish then, and to suggest Alonso has yet to prove himself as equal in talent to Michael Schumacher, who is talented but not the most talented driver I've ever seen, is equally rubbish.
This remark wasn't specifically directed at you, but I guess the shoe fit.

I don't think either JayVee or I meant to suggest you were saying FA's WDC was due to the car. I was objecting to your implication that FA had yet to prove himself as a top talent. This was triggered by this remark you made:
Redhead wrote:we have yet to see FA get results in a car that he shouldnt, win races that he shouldnt have. This is a quality that MS has demonstrated on many occasions, and provide some of my enduring memories of recent F1 years (in all its limitations). Im not saying that FA is not capable of this, but I have yet to see it.
Ultimately, I was asking you the question, "what else do you need to see?" You never addressed or explained this remark in any of your responses, yet this is the very remark we took acception to. That is why I kept harping on it. I find it hard sometimes to understand why some F1 fans (not necessarily you) will wax poetic about the unbelievable talents of, for instance, Kimi Raikkonen, yet want to act as if the jury is still out in deciding whether or not the soon-to-be-crowned-two-time WC Fernando Alonso is of equal talent. A lot of pundits do this. This gets my emotions going.
Dinner was superb thank you, you never would have thought a sprinkle of freshly ground pepper and grated cheese could turn baked beans on toast into such a tour de force.
Ya know, I'm gonna have to try that! It sounds yummy!
I do agree with you, however that we have gone back and forth on this issue long enough, so I am ready to kiss and makeup.
kisses,

Be careful! I think I told you once before how much I love redheads!
