It was announced on Thursday that IMS Chief Executive Officer Tony George and Formula One Management President and Chief Executive Officer Bernie Ecclestone agreed to a one year contract to run the US Grand Prix.

While the contract is only for one year, the goal is to make the Speedway the longtime home for the US Grand Prix, Joie Chitwood the IMS President said.

The race goes back to June and is scheduled for the 17th subject to final approval by the FIA.

It'll be nice to continue having two Grands Prix in North America, although Indianapolis has never been my favorite track...

I have heard the name but don't know anything about him. I will check that out. :D It would be hard for anyone to live up to Senna in my eyes though.

Have just had a look at what he has been up to this year and he certainly has won a few races. Originally from France. Could be interesting if he was interested in F1.

He hasn't much left to prove in the States. One would think a frenchman might be a tad interested in driving for Renault
