Predict who will win the 2006 Drivers Championship and if you wish provide the scenario for the last 2 races in Japan and Brazil.

If you get the scenario right, you will win a good prize. In the scenario, you will need to provide (at least) the finishing positions for both Fernando Alonso and Michael Schumacher. Only 1 scenario per player.
In case of a similar scenario, the earliest submitted scenario wins.

We could also give away a prize for the 'most creative' scenario

This prediction closes prior to the start of the Japanese Grand Prix on Sunday

Good luck

Alonso will win the WDC.. (I hope).

Scenario
MS will be in the lead in the final race of the year, when Sato will run into several cars causing a massive accident. The pace car will be brought out but Michael will pick up some debris and have a puncture. He will limp back to the pits to have a new rear tyre fitted.. the wheel nut will get stuck for about 6 seconds but he will manage to rejoin just in front of Alonso. Five laps later he will finally manage to get past Alonso with the help of Massa and be heading towards WDC number 8, when little brother Ralf attempts to take p12 and spins right into big brother, therefore handing the race and the WDC to Alonso. Mark Webber will avoid all the chaos and manage to slip into p 2 without anyone noticing.

Michael Schumacher will win this year's Formula 1 WDC over Fernando Alonso in the same manner that Sam Hornish, Jr. beat Dan Wheldon to win the 2006 IRL IndyCar Series title.....on a tiebreaker!!

How? Currently both Schuey and Alonso are tied for the lead(Schuey leads on the first tiebreaker w/most wins over Alonso). With two races remaining, what if....they finish 1-2 at each race(say, Alonso wins at Suzuka, Schuey wins at Interlagos, and the other finishes 2nd at each). If that happens, they would still be tied for the lead, and Schuey would retire with another WDC. :burnout: :burnout:

Hey, the way this season's gone, anything is distinctly possible! :burnout: :burnout:    :burnout:

Alonso The Cute of course :D :D :D

Michael will NOT finish in the points in either race. Alonso will win both races.

In Japan he will stall and be forced to start from the back.

In Brazil, it will be a wet race and he will spin out in his last race

Schumacher to start from pole and win from Alonso in Japan (1st & 2nd respectively), but then fail to get the 2nd place finish he requires in Brazil as he turns in on Raikonnen at turn 1 trying to defend his 2nd place late in the race forcing his own early retirement. Alonso then goes on to win the race from Raikonnen to secure his 2nd consecutive WDC.

Alonso to get early lead over MS until about 10 laps to go when Alonso's engine fails. MS wins and no points for Alonso.

In Brazil, Alonso to win leading all the way with MS cruising into third place behind Alonso and Massa.

Because I have no time for MS, the man, my personal Karma will decide the championship.
In Japan, with two Japanese Teams in front of the Home crowd, (altho Sato alone would be enough) no car will finish.
In Brazil all looks good for Alonso. He qualifies first with Fisi second, Michael is 4th behind Massa. On lap 1 Massa and Fisi take each other out. As the cars sweep into the pit straight the cameras pan to a distraught Kimi running around The McLaren Garage looking for his car. A lone Renault sits there painted in McLaren colours. Alonso is black flagged for starting in a McLaren painted blue and yellow. As he hoists the WDC trophy aloft, it is noticeable to keen eyed observers that MS has blue, yellow and silver paint smears on his fingers.

Toyota is Cologne based with a german driver, and an equally slow codriver. No self respecting Japanese will lay claim to that team

Oh but Honda are based in a Japanese town named Braccily or something Japanese sounding aren't they
And they have a Japanese sounding Pommy driver (Jonsin sounds Japanese doesn't it) with an equally (slow or fast - scratch as preffered) codriver. No self respecting ........  :D

But as you say Sato is enough

Have a good look at JB whithout a helmet. Honda doesn't have Ralf, they get to "save face'. 8)
