I can't believe it's my last time to post my picks for 06!

It's been the kind of season, though, that I love. And this week, as JayVee noted, the curse has been lifted, I don't have to pick the driver in the first blue and yellow car to win --and thereby hex him, because I did that last week AND HE BLOODY WON!

Of course, the up side was that it boosted me back into the third century and this week my picks are designed to move me into the second maybe!!

So with much ado here I go:

:1st: Michael Schumacher in the BIG RED MACHINE to win his EIGHTH WDC!!

:2nd: Kimi Raikkonen, next years WDC in the sleek silver merc engined McLaren --to celebrate Ron Dennis's first season in how long ??? without a win!!!

:3rd: Felipe Massa, to insure Ferarri's Constructor's Championship for 06

 Fourth: just off the Podium and the highest placing Spaniard, Pedro delaRosa (for his probably last F1 start)

 Fifth: Jensen, our boy J.B. --to further confuse the Honda Wallahs

 Sixth: the Polish Prince, Kubica in his spanking Sauber!

 Seventh: Rubens B, proving once again that his home circuit is cursed. He'll probably lead the race at one point... and then... what? a seventy second pit stop while they look for another wheel lock?

 Eighth: Mark Webber (Is that blue and white car a Williams? Really?!? Then why hasn't the transmission fallen out yet?)

 Pole? No Question. Eight Time WDC Michael Schumacher

And no. I'm not permitted to tell you what happens to the Gallic entries

cheerio, mates, and many thanks, JuliAn, for your kind reminders that I can't spell any better than I can pick 'em!

Jim  :drink:

Two players top scored this round with 48 points.

ScrapDealer and Steven Pazin top scored this round. ScrapDealer was the earliest to submit their pick for this round.

The average score was 29.74.

Just under 60 players managed to pick all 8 drivers! The popular pick also had all 8 finishers!

Congratulations ScrapDealer, you have won a NewsOnF1 Compact Smart Digital Clock with Alarm.

Please give us your comments on how you've managed such a stunning pick!
All other players can contribute here as well. We'd love to hear from you.

Overall while SILVERFOX scored higher than JD, JD had enough of a lead to become the 2006 8 'n' Pole Competition winner.

Congratulations to JD and SILVERFOX. Both of you showed amazing consistency during the season.

The Overall Top 20 is available here

The Brazil Top 100 is available here

The Popularity Picks for the round of Brazil is available here

Results for individuals and groups will be sent shortly.

Your Score for this round is 35 and your Rank for this round is 106 (Top score this round:48)

Your Total score is 460 and your Overall Rank is 427 out of 2013
Didn't do too bad in the final round. Still a miserable score overall! From 29th last year to 427th this year :( :(

Next year I will be back. Promise :D
