Wayne Gardner was known as Captain Chaos in OZ v8s!. However he went on to win some fiercely contested sports car races in Japan,got a factory drive and, I think, won a series or 2

thats not too bad....i was unaware of his success in japan..from what i can recall he was reasonably quick in the V8s. You could always be sure of one thing with Sir Wayne....He was never going to back down from a fight!!

Yeah, he was always entertaining, especially when he spat the dummy. Unfortunately for him, he made some pretty big statements, putting everybody offside, then failed to live up to the things he had said
