Vision Racing's Ed Carpenter next driver on the qual. order......

Looking at the timing/scoring data, everyone who has qualified so far except for the provisional polesitter(Franchitti) set their fastest lap on the second of their two qual. laps

Carpenter completes his qual. run; he'll slot into P8 at the moment; 211.325 mph(25.298 sec)

2006 IndyCar Series Rookie of the Year Marco Andretti is next on the qual. order; Andretti became the youngest driver to win in NA open-wheel competition with a win at Infineon Raceway; came within a few hundred feet of winning at Indy in last year's 500

Watching the live video feed, it looks as though everyone is using about the same line(low entering the turns and then 'washing up' just a little bit exiting the turns); second lap complete for Andretti, and he'll slot provisionally into P2 at 212.754 mph(25.128 sec)

And Hornish is on a flyer; Hornish slots into P2 on his first lap and is running the car right on the white lines.........just short; he'll slot next to Wheldon w/a time of 24.946 sec(214.298 mph)

Hornish and Wheldon are the only drivers to top 214 mph at the moment......
