The weather forecat for Sat. & Sun. for Melbourne
Saturday Fine Min 21 Max 35

Havnt seen the forecast for monday, but if it has a change and rain i would not be at all surprised if it came thru early, they often do. :o

Will have to pack my hat and hope I dont need it.

It may sound contradictory, but if its going to be that hot you may want to wear long trousers. Many a time I have sat there in the stands with everything covered except my legs ... and they fried.

I wont be there this year, so it will probably be a cracker, whereabouts are you sitting?

cheers,
Cam

:D Well, you lucky blokes!

You may be blessed by the ABSENCE of F1's MegaMouth, His Huge Self Importance, Bernard Ecclestone. Since he has decided that Europeans don't like watching racing in the middle of the night, and since Melbourne doesn't see any reason to have to provide lights as well as the loan of its streets, he'll be 'forced' to take F1 elsewhere. Never mind the many fans of F1 in the neighborhood. After all, fans are no more important to Bernie's Vision of F1 than real racing is. The only thing that matters to him is his bloody personal fortune.

In fact, it's remarkable that ANYONE can be a bigger pain in the lower anatomy than Max, but Bernie is MORE than up to it.

Have a good time at the races. I hope we DO get a little rain; both Kimi and Fernando are good in the wet. So, if last year's Chinese G.P. was any guide, is Hamilton.

hi redhead
I am in a far flung cheap seat for quali. and the neckbreaker stand on the main straight for the race. Have tickets for Thursday and friday in same stands but wont be going so they are available. Not sure if I am allowed to spruke them on the forum though???
If bernie isnt happy with a 5pm start next year the best thing might be to get, Perth. Western Australia. to try and hold it. they are already 2.5 hrs after Melbourne so if they started at 3pm that would be a lot later for all those poor sleep deprived europeans.
