Round of Malaysia '08 - Picks and comments

It is already time to submit your picks for the Malaysian Grand Prix. This year there is only 1 week between the Australian and Malaysian Grands Prix.

You can submit your picks at ttp://www.newsonf1.com/8npole/submit.htm then paste your picks here and tell us why you think your picks will be the correct ones.

The deadline for submitting the picks for Malaysia is the 21st of March prior to the start of the first Friday practice session.

Ferrari will make us all forget about their first race. Nobody will touch them this week.
However, Hamilton will maintain his lead with a third place. Heikki will not be far in fifth.
Williams' Nico Rosberg will be a surprise fourth, just outside the podium.
Nick Heidfeld in BMW will drive excellently to prove that his team should still be counted with.
Fernando Alonso will grab well-deserved points in 7th with a brilliant strategy and bold moves.
Finally Webber will be consoled of his home race woes with the point of 8th position.

1st} Kimi Raikkonen(he'll redeem Ferrari for all the misfortunes Down Under.....) :lol: :shock: :shock:
2nd} Lewis Hamilton(continuing to lead the way...... :lol: :lol: )
3rd} Fernando Alonso(now, why did I leave Renault for McLaren last year?....... :shock: :shock: :shock: )
4th} Nick Heidfeld(once again.....the best of the rest!)

It's hard to guess anything after last week, but here goes....
Being Brazilian I inevitably have to root for Massa, but I am beginning to think that my bias is getting in the way of winning some prizes

Winner: Fernando Alonso - Loves this track
Second: Kimi Raikkonen - wants to prove the mistakes he did in Oz were a one off
Third: Heikki Kovalainen - he was quicker than Hamilton in Melbourne, just with a bit of luck this time
Fourth: Felipe Massa - finally realises he doesn't have TC!!
Fifth: Lewis Hamilton - I should put his somewhere!!
Sixth: Robert Kubica - gets some better luck this round
Seventh: Nico Rosberg - deserves to finish in the points everytime
Eighth: Nick Heidfeld - Seems Kubica will get the better of him
Pole: Robert Kubica - Have to pick someone for pole so I picked a Pole!!

My Picks (showing that I have learned ABSOLUTELY NOTHING from Melbourne! :roll:)

1. Kimi in his Ferrari :up:
2. Felipe driving Lewis wacky in the second Ferrari :lol:
3. Lewis protecting his lead in WDC points in the McLaren Mercedes 8)
4. Robert Kubica chewing on Lewis's back tyres in the Beamer/Sauber :evil:
5. Heikki K. in the other McLaren/Merc :oops:
6. Quick Nick H. in the second Beamer, cursing Heikki for blocking :twisted:
7. Fernando in the French machine waving his arms a lot :furious:
8. Nico R. getting a reality check in the Williams/Toyota :alright:

and the pole will be Lewis Hamilton's again (it should be a habit this year) :(

Second : Lewis Hamilton (don't like him but he won't lose)
Third : Felipe Massa (good car and has a good pole record)
Fourth : Heikki Kovalainen (new kid, fast car, good performance)
Fifth : Fernando Alonso (hopefully he will have a good 08)
Sixth : Robert Kubica (good overall driver)
Seventh : Rubens Barrichello (had a good Aus until he got dq)
Eighth : Sebastien Bourdais (A great performance by torro roso in aus)
Pole : Kimi Raikkonen (well it obvious is it not)

I wouldn't fret too much over it, wen......the way the first two GP's have gone, I doubt many of us have done well in 8'n'pole so far..... :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

I always submit my picks at the earliest possible moment that I can. That way I will always have picks to bank on and the option to change if needed is always there if needed. :wink:

no i don't think many of us have had good 8npole season starts with bourdais 7th in aus and massa out in malasia
