Caution's out as there is a 2-car crash exiting turn 2; Viso and Scheckter are involved, sliding into the infield....from the video feed, it looks as though Viso touched Scheckter and sent both spinning around; it doesn't look like they hit the wall or anyone else but it looks like Scheckter is beached on the grassy infield at Kansas

It won't matter; Scheckter is out of his car and he is done for the day.........

....and we are at halfway; drivers see the furled yellow flag crossed with a furled green, signifying halfway(normally it is crossed green flags at halfway but we are currently under caution)

Race control reporting that most of the frontrunners are pitting for fuel and tires, taking advantage of the yellow to pit now rather than under green

Race control reporting that Meira has returned to pit lane; there looks like there is damage to the left-front suspension and he is out of the race! How does the saying go....."If we didn't have bad luck, we'd have no luck?"

Patrick around Andretti for 8th; meanwhile, Castroneves and Briscoe are in lockstep trying to catch the leaders and TK has to check up for a moment, putting a little separation btwn. Dixon, Wheldon and Kanaan
