:D Greetings Race Fanatics!

I have been busy lately moving and so missed seeing the fabulous German Grand Prix. You may imagine my surprise when I picked up the paper to see a Renault (and not Mr. Alonso's) on the podium! I am assuming that Kimi's comments about a similar run of bad luck around this time last year explain the miserable performance of the Maranello gang.

So, probably never learning from experience, as usual, I am sticking to my guns and picking for

:1st: Kimi Raikkonen, the driver we all remember as ridiculously fast and talented in addition to being the unluckiest chap in years :unfair:
:2nd: Lewis Hamilton, who should now be in 'defensive' mode --having learned from last year that points matter more than winning :maths:
:3rd: Heikki Kovalainen, he seems on the upswing --at last!
4th: Felipe Massa: he'd better get some points, at least!
5th: [Quick] Nick Heidfeld, the chap is figuring it out and letting his teammate do the work for him
6th: Robert Kubica --I just can't leave him out of the points :fly:
7th: Fernando Alonso --sorry JayVee, he doesn't seem to be really his old self at all :alright:
and the last point goes to: Mark Webber, who is even unluckier than Kimi, I think :drink:

The Pole, naturally, will be Kimi's. :drive:

Looking forward to Practice, Qualifications and race. Plan to immerse self in this week's Hungarian Goulash!

Maybe, I'll be able to crawl back into the first century. Last week dropped me to something like 167th in Pole n8 Points.

Jim Watt
