Unconfirmed reports indicate that Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim has purchased the Honda F1 team. In addition, it is reported that the new team will retain Jenson Button and replace Rubens Barrichello by Bruno Senna.

Just a day after reports emerged about a possible buyout for the Honda team, those reports were denied. The Telmex Racing team which is owned by Mexican billionare Carlos Slim denied any activity in purchasing the Honda F1 team.
