With Max just having lost his adult son, I am declaring a personal truce for 48 hours. Then I will recommence savaging the egotistical meglomaniac with a vengeance.

:crush: Come to Order, Mates! :crush:

M. Little thinks Renault have something (besides Fernando) up their collective sleeves 8) picking Fernando for the Pole & second place!! Now, I KNOW it's Bartheloana and Fernando is a Spanish chap -- but this circuit BELONGS to the RED MACHINES!!

So I am ABANDONING ALL COMMON SENSE this week, hoping to score BIG TIME and picking to win:

:1st: Kimi Raikkonen  from the Pole in the kind of Ferrari we're used to seeing, that is one that strikes terror into the hearts of regular working chaps :woohoo:
:2nd: Sebastian Vettel   in the kind of car Fernando WISHES Renault would give him and being powered by the very same Renault Fernando wishes they wouldn't just give away to any old team :alright:
:3rd: Jenson Button saying, 'hey, wha' jus' happened here!?'
and
4th place goes to Jenson's team-mate (assuming they don't put him on full wets or try to drive a no-stopper strategy ) Rubens Barrichello :woohoo:
5th place will be the ever cool and ever more humble chap in the principal machine powered by a Mercedes in the race but running, after the example of Fernando with Renault, BEHIND a client team rather embarrassingly,  I mean the defending World Champion, Lewis, whas his name again, luv? Oh, thas right; 'ambone, I believe 8)
6th place & adding to his collection of lower portion of the points board this season, the BEST DRIVER ON THE CIRCUIT, Fernando Alonso in a FACTORY RENAULT :burnout:
7th place: TIMO GLOCK as the mighty TOYOTA's glide back into the middle of the pack :alright:
and my almost perennial pick for the last point: MARK WEBBER :drive: You know, nothing would make me happier than for him to actually WIN this race. He's got the skills; he's got the machinery ... it's just that he also has the rotten Raikkonen luck :alright::alright:

which makes 3 Renault engines, 3 Mercs, a Ferrari and a Toyota in the points --and this makes me all smiles :D :D for an F1 season to remember

And it's also a perfectly clear rebuttal of Bernie's mad notion of a single powerplant, not merely for F1, but for ALL RACING in the BLOODY WORLD!! will someone Please DO SOMETHING about this madman before it's too late!?!

OH YES. as I sd above, the POLE BELONGS TO KIMI :burnout: :bouncest: :twinb: :tramp:

Oh, how I am looking forward to some real racing under the Spanish Sun, and just think how much more fun it will be next year with NO RE-FUELING RACING!! :duel: We'll get to see even more racing. like the 250cc and the moto gt races last week --and, yes, like the crazy KESLOWSKI finish in the NASCAR race! Did you hear him in the Wind Tunnel interview? "For me you get one block per car, after that, look out!" Yeah!! So next year I vote for steel reinforced and sharpened wings on the front of all F1 machines; don't care so much about adjusting downforce as making sure they can 'nudge' slower chaps out of the bloody way!!

Sorry. I'm just so EXCITED this year!! :bouncec::bouncec:

I wondered when I posted it whether my hyperbole mightn't be misread.:oops:

I love clean racing as much as anyone, but I'm ALSO NOT happy with the new diffuser rules which are already UNdoing the whole point of the rule changes that were specifically intended to allow close racing and make for more opportunities for overtaking than just turn one. 8)

NASCAR, obviously, goes too far in the OTHER direction.

Its alright Jim, I was just daydreaming over my cornflakes.
Couldn't agree more about the rule changes, a typical example of Max stuf........................Bugga,........sigh..... I will get back to you in about 40 hours on that one. 8)

Ok, that is all thanks to the dartboard!

Winner: Jenson Button - what really changed? :)

Second: Sebastian Vettel - follow-up to an impressive start of the season

Third: Fernando Alonso - car evolution and fan support

Fourth: Kimi Raikkonen - Ferrari's making a bet, hope it works out!

Fifth: Mark Webber - he is good after all

Sixth: Jarno Trulli

Seventh: Lewis Hamilton

Eighth: Rubens Barrichello

Pole: Sebastian Vettel

Don't think Barrichello is at his right place, and Timo Glock is missing, but hey, who am I to argue with the darts?
