Raikkonen to contest rally event.............

According to the linked article over at
motorsport.com, 2007 Formula 1 champion Kimi Raikkonen is set to compete in the upcoming WRC Rally Finland alongside current Ford WRC works driver Jari-Matti Latvala. When asked about it, Kimi's spokesperson, Riku Kuvala, said,
This has been his longtime dream. After driving in a few smaller rallies, he is very enthusiastic about Rally Finland.
Good luck to Kimi on his WRC debut!

Indeed mlittle. It does look like Kimi is doing what he enjoys doing and that is a good thing. It is also good to see Ferrari giving him this kind of flexibility.

And I wonder why, with Ferrari said to be confirming Alonso is joining them, come Monza.

That could also have to do with Raikkonen's comments about not being so interested in F1 any more too!!
