Lola to rejoin F1?
The rumour mill is churning out that Lola is doing a full evaluation prior to rejoining the F1 circus. Apparently the cost cap has made it attractive.

Watch out for 19 yr old Aussie Daniel Ricciardo. The rumour mill has it that several F1 teams are ready to pounce on this very rapid young speedster who is currently doing Carlin proud, in the Brit F3 Championship.

During Pole Day Qualifying at Indy today, former Honda F1 driver Takuma Sato was seen, taking in the sights and sounds of the Brickyard.....rumor has it he'll be racing an Indycar at Motegi this fall for 2003 Indy 500 winner Gil de Ferran's team, and had this to say about being at Indy this afternoon...........

Obviously, I know the track, but this is my first trip during the IndyCar Series, and I'm very impressed. This place, obviously, is very important. I'm looking forward to any possibility of a chance in my future plans (to race in the Indianapolis 500), you know, just to have a look and feel it, the Indy 500. (How different does it feel being here now compared to being here for Formula One?) I only know the race days in F1, so the Indy 500 on Race Day will be massively different from Pole Day today. But obviously I can get the feel that this is one of the biggest events in motorsports in the world. I'm so excited for it.

Spanish Bank Santander, a major sponsor of McLaren, to switch to Ferrari next year, along with a certain Spanish Driver, no name of course but he does have a couple of F1 world championships to his credit
Look for an announcement at the Italian GP, which coincidentally is traditionally when Ferrari announce their driver line up for the following season...............

Yup, it has been quietly brewing to a full head of steam.
We may well be watching the cars we love to watch, while the FIA runs the F1 World Championship for formula Vs.
I do think that Mosely will have to lose face on this one or lose the crrent teams/manufacturers.
I cannot see Mercedes, for example, providing a strictly controlled engine to strictly controoled teams only to have them blown to the weeds by an overgrown Kart with a bi-turbo passat engine and a drag co-efficient of minus 1.

Just the usual little cynical game between FIA(=MAXXX) and the teams. Dont worry, no split, no alternative series, no big quits(for that reason..).

Julian, FERNANDO was supposed to sit in FERRARI since 2 years so maybe it isnt that sure for 2010.....

One thing seems sure though, FELIPE looks safer with the team than KIMI...

RENAULT could pull out completely which is why REDBULL dont say clearly they have an engine supplier when asked about cooperation with MERCEDES or someone else...

FERNANDO would then definitely join a top team, FERRARI, BMW, BRAWN or TOYOTA?

FERRARI, if replacing just KIMI, might rather choose SEBASTIAN, with MICHAELs support....only if replacing both drivers FERNANDO would have 100% chance...

BRAWN will most likely replace RUBENS but might choose either a young driver like BRUNO or go for KIMI or FELIPE...

BMW will most likely replace NICK and might go for FERNANDO if available...

TOYOTA will most likely replace JARNO and also go for FERNANDO...or KIMI..

MCLAREN will most definitely replace HEIKI and go for either SEBASTIAN, NICO or ADRIAN...

RENAULT, if not pulling out completely, will certainly have replaced NELSON with ROMAIN during this season and then opt for an experienced top driver like KIMI(or FELIPE if FERRARI replaces both).

REDBULL, if losing SEBASTIAN, will also look for FERNANDO, KIMI or FELIPE....

Altogether the driver market will be the most lively for many years after this season as there are 1 or 2 new teams also lined up....

Okay, so after Monaco's result, maybe it isn't over for Raikkonen and Bourdais!!!

How many times have we seen Kimi get it together when the Alonso/Ferrari rumours get new wings as they currently have??

I can't see how Kimi's performance in Monaco was a boost! He had a bad start and couldn't get ahead of Barrichello despite Barrichello's struggles.

I don't want to speculate on Alonso and Ferrari until the speculation over Formula 1 is over!!
