Vatanan has confirmed that he will oppose Mad bloody Max at the FIA elections in October, stating that he was doing so in response to many requests.

Aaahhhh, perhaps we won't have to.
With Vatanan standing (which means he a has a lot of support within the FIA, and with FOTA bypassing The Gnome (aka dicredited Bernie), and dealing directly with CVC, there is a good chance we will have a still unified F1, minus The Gnome And Mad Max. :lol:

Well according to Bernie, he is sure Max Mosley will not stand for re-election!

"I have no doubt in my mind (he will retire). As long as I've known Max, he's always done what he said he would do"

Yep, the spanner seems to be firm at work on FOTA's side this time, But its all rather speculative at the moment. We need to see FOTA take serious action and get thing done without manipulative deals and empty talks with Mosley and Bernie. I am rather unimpressed with FOTA's actions on 24 June, and up to now, they need to take a firm stance and stick with their decisions all the way.
