Here's my take on the silly season (enjoy!):

Ferrari: F. Massa/K. Raikkonen
The Scuderia will unfortunately remain unchanged because they have contracted with Raikkonen through 2010. Alonso will replace Raikkonen in 2011. Massa remains.

McLaren: L. Hamilton/A. Sutil
Williams will throw buckets of money at Nico Rosberg to stay. If Nico leaves Williams, expect to see him in a McLaren. The Williams finishes in the top 8 consistently, so Rosberg may stay put for one more season. The emerging Sutil satisfies Mercedes' jones for a young German in the cockpit.

Brawn: J. Button/F. Alonso
Barrichello is out. Alonso makes the shocking announcement that he is moving over to Brawn GP. Despite his letter of intent to Ferrari, Raikkonen is contracted through 2010.

Red Bull: S. Vettel/M. Webber
No drama. No changes. Both drivers are under contract through next year.

BMW Sauber: R. Kubica/N. Heidfeld
BMW throws the bank at Kubica to stay, and understands how important the chemistry is with Heidfeld. Promises are made. Both drivers stay.

Renault: H. Kovalainen/R. Grosjean
Kovalainen follows the lead of Fernando Alonso and returns to his former team after being replaced by Adrian Sutil at McLaren. Renault replaces the departing Nelson Piquet, Jr with the team's reserve driver.

Williams: N. Rosberg/K. Nakajima
Frank and company throw the bank at Nico to stay. Kazumi Nakajima has performed well enough to remain.

Force India: G. Fisichella/V. Liuzzi
Fisichella, popular within the team and a solid performer, is retained. Force India introduces "Tonio" Liuzzi as its second driver.

Toro Rosso: S. Buemi/???
Sebastian Bourdais returns to America and Indy Cars.

Toyota: J. Trulli/T. Glock
Not able to attract any of the top drivers, Toyota wastes no time in retaining its solid performers. Timo Glock's hopes of moving to McLaren are dashed when the team signs Lewis Hamilton's former GP2 teammate Adrian Sutil.

Campos: Pedro de la Rosa/???
New team. No surprise here. Good luck, Pedro!

Renault: H. Kovalainen/B. Senna
Kovalainen follows the lead of Fernando Alonso and returns to his former team after being replaced by Adrian Sutil at McLaren. Renault replaces the departing Nelson Piquet, Jr with countryman Bruno Senna, nephew of the late great Ayrton Senna.

Williams: N. Rosberg/K. Nakajima
Frank and company throw the bank at Nico to stay. Kazumi Nakajima has performed well enough to remain.

Force India: G. Fisichella/V. Liuzzi

And Danica ??? 8)
The DP stays put in IRL. Formula 1 is not competitive enough. She is in a top team in America with major sponsorship. It would be very unlikely for her to come to F1 considering how her team owner and most recent CART champ Sebastian Bourdais have fared. I don't believe F1 was a specific goal for her.

CORRECTION TO MY PREDICTIONS:

Toro Rosso: S. Buemi/R. Grosjean
Sebastian Bourdais returns to America and Indy Cars. Bourdais is replaced by reserve driver Romain Grosjean.

Danica Patrick has all but ruled out racing in F1. Apparantly she is too much a "Home Town Girl".

Best guess is that Danica will be one of the Chipster's drivers next year alongside Franchitti and Dixon. At the very least, she wouldn't have to carry Marco around anymore on the soap opera that's known as Andretti-Green Racing...................

Red Bull confirm Mark Webber for 2010

Mark Webber "I’m extremely happy that Red Bull and I have been able to agree to race together again next year"

So Red Bull have both their drivers confirmed for 2010 (Vettel and Webber)
