No worries <T-K>
They all have merit I think however how would a driver get out of the fully covered ones within the 5 seconds ?
The last one with the forward extension of the engine cover would not have prevented the Massa accident!!
It is a tough one

I suppose if it were paired with a larger windscreen similar to that of a dragster it may have made a difference, albeit making the car aesthetically horrendous...
I think the biggest problem with applying a larger windshield type object in front of the driver is what do you do when it rains or if you get some oil on it...

I think safety has certainly improved over the years. If Senna had his accident now he would probably still be alive.
However what happened to Felipe was a completely freaky incident and unfortunately motor sport is dangerous and you can never cover every eventuality.
The good thing is that Felipe is ok and hopefully will be back in the car next year..... and maybe even get WDC!!
