I'm first!

Winner: Fernando Alonso - It is his turn after such bad luck
Second: Kimi Raikkonen - Tries to make it 2 in a row but Alonso isn't Fisichella!!
Third: Heikki Kovalainen - Trying to save his career
Fourth: Sebastian Vettel - He is quick here
Fifth: Giancarlo Fisichella - Not expecting a second podium in a row!
Sixth: Rubens Barrichello - He is getting the upperhand at Brawn
Seventh: Mark Webber - At least he scores some points this time!
Eighth: Romain Grosjean - First points for him
Pole: Fernando Alonso - I said it is his turn :D

And I am back :D
My picks may look weird, my reasoning is: Monza is a low downforce track, top speed and KERS (which matured) will count more here

The picks you have entered are:

Winner: Lewis Hamilton -- beating the pack :P

Second: Giancarlo Fisichella -- feels funny to be driving a red car, doesn't it? :drive:

Third: Kimi Raikkonen -- always the lucky one - not

Fourth: Jarno Trulli -- no KERS, but good straight speed

Fifth: Fernando Alonso -- Renault in the pace with a fast Alonso

Sixth: Sebastian Vettel -- time will be short to optimise the setup, otherwise could do better ;)

Seventh: Jenson Button -- good driving and strategy, but is Brawn still on the front row?

Eighth: Rubens Barrichello -- the tail of the points

Pole: Jarno Trulli -- difficult to predict who'll do the pole :) Trulli is good at it though

:D Well, after Spa, how can ANYONE pick the podium, let alone the Pole and eight points winning places: it's like a double trifecta!! Only Jay Vee & Jido are ahead of me. I wonder who Julian will pick? As for me I only earned 14 points last race, but then the best person only got 28. So, I have given up trying to make sensible picks any more; the cars and the drivers are so evenly matched it comes down to ambient temperatures and tyre choices.

So. Here goes:

the Pole should go to Jenson Button; he's been on such a down spiral lately 8)

But the win will go to Kimi Raikkonen, driving all those Felipe fans nuts & making Fernando think again about switching to the Red team

(In fact, I am thinking there is so much wrong at Renault that for the first time in several races, I am not picking Fernando for a single point--sorry Jay Vee :alright:)

Second step on the podium will belong to the wunderkind: Seb. V. in the Red Bull (so Renault, at least, will sort of score some points) 8)

and on the Third step: Jenson Button in the Braun/Merc --making the Teutons think about making Braun their First String bearer of the three pointed star

Fourth place will go to Giancarlo Fisichella in the other Red machine :D (and what took you so long Montezumelo!!)

Fifth will belong to Lewis Hamilton, making the best of an outclassed machine (word is everyone at Woking is working on NEXT year's machine now; they being so far out of the hunt)

Sixth place should go to Rubens Barichello in the 'other' Braun :?

Seventh I'm giving --out of nostalgia for the old days--to Mark Webber in the other Red Bull  --and Mark's dreams are fading fast....

and the last point I'm giving to Nico Rosberg; can't wait for him to find a real GP team next year :smokin:

well, that's it. now I'm waiting for Friday practice to put Toyota first on the charts! 8)

Apologies, the site was down for a few minutes due to a technical issue with our host provider. It should be working now

However, at anytime, if you cannot submit your picks, you can always send your picks (include Player Id, top 8 and pole drivers) via email to the 8 'n' Pole email address
