What happened to Button?

Post by RE30B#16 » Sun Sep 27, 2009 3:22 am

How come all of the players in this years championship are still challenging (including Barichello), but Button is nowhere to be found?

It seems Jenson Button has rejoined oblivion.

He is alright and should win the title easy enough. Hoped he gets another win in the last 3 races, though.

Quite obviously the car is still good but depending on the track only 3rd or 4th best. Probably it serves RUBENS a bit better now than JENSON who may not be the greatest to drive over a cars weakness. Problem is you have to stop driving smoothly when the machine doesnt respond as it should.

Hope BRAWN get the job done for the finish, surely JENSON will. However it may be difficult for the package to shine in a rainy Suzuka.

All the best from here, GO JENSON!

Jenson was actually very unlucky with the qualifying and penalties incurred in Japan. Before that he had been struggling in qualifying lately. But it should be noted that everyone has been struggling in qualifying! It has been a particularly strange season in this regard, with cars/driver's strengths and weaknesses being exaggerated by the current rules and interpretations. Things should normalise next season with designs converging on optimum configurations.

I believe the BRAWNs performance is also suffering from the lack of budget relative to a number of other teams.
This has allowed others to catch up in the development of the cars, most notably Red Bull earlier in the season, and McLaren now towards the end of season.
Combine this with a conservative approach by Jenson (points racing) and it makes it look like he has somehow "lost it"
I'm in shape

Round is a shape...........

Perhaps Button should learn from Hamilton's disastorous "point racing" strategy last year. This year Glock may not be there to help!!!!!!!!

Button should have wrapped this up already and the longer it takes him the less impressive it is

I want to see a racer and a fighter take it and I am sorry, Button want it handed to him!!
I would really be happy to see Vettel take it although I know it won't happen given his engine situation.
I'm back and yes supporting Alonso "The Cute" in the Ferrari!
