FIA/AMD FORMULA ONE SURVEY

FIA is doing an an online fan survey!!! looks like an opportunity to hava a say!!!!

"At the beginning of 2005 the FIA launched a consultation on the future of Formula 1 with all of the sport's stakeholders," said an FIA spokesman.
"We felt that including Formula 1 fans in this process was essential.
"To help shape the future of the sport we want as many fans as possible to complete the online survey."

We've been wanting to announce this however we found that the survey website either responds with busy/unauthorised messages or is very very slow (this is sponsored by a Computer chip maker

)
We've never managed to end the survey once despite trying at least 10 times at different times.
As I write this I get an unauthorised message.
Are you guys getting the same response ? Survey sites should be very quick as surveys by their nature are boring!
We'll update this thread when and if the survey site becomes more responsive!

I did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i had to do "refresh" in me browser (opera, the best on world

) when a strange error came out but i managed to did it till the end!!!!!!!!
bads news to K-D... no way to propose your score system there...
Good news fore those who like the All-free-low-fuel Q!!!!!!! the Question14 is about it!!!
Go for it!!!!!!!!!!
a lot of interesting things!!
BUT 1 ADVICE!!!:I u wanna be listened, try to be as consistent as you can with your answers, i have some statistical education and know that there'll be a lot of quesions done just to "test" the credibility of the person who is answering.. (can anyone understand me? (poor english here...))

What I don't like about this survey is that one can't add comments and some of the questions are vague or we can't provide an accurate answer.
Like how much live qualifying do you watch. NONE, why ? Cause we CAN'T
Like how much live races do you watch. The real answer should be 4 cause all the others are DELAYED
And what is a single tyre format, is that a single tyre supplier or a single tyre for the whole race ?
Of course there is the ridiculous question about wanting more personal information about the drivers
And what does subscribing to F1 Racing have to do with this survey
Glad they didn't ask "Does you computer use an AMD chip" and if you answered no they'll delete your entry
Oh well, at least we can tell them we want the old qualifying system (at least myself and many others here do)

I have completed it as well, utter and complete waste of time. More a promo for a web-site/publication in direct competition with this one.
Questions were a list of second- or thrid rate journalistic quality, which my 14 year old nephew could have asked better.
This "survey" should NEVER have been promoted by the FIA, we have seen several hundred like it on the internet before, and the idea that this is the basis for anything worthwhile makes me wonder, that maybe F1 is in dire straits after all.
I completed it, since there is a price to be won.

I am now in the process of writing a diatribe to FIA, which I will send to them with my actual input and comments on the state of F1, as well as what I suggets to make it a better and more interesting series.
I suggest that you all do the same, and make the same suggestion on all the F1forums you frequent, we may start a grondswell movement with actual input, rather that the held hand of the commercial rights holder.

I once tryed to write FIA but got not answered...
I think if you want to write them you should make a letter which would be sent by many people ot with some sort of signatures, or something....I dubt a letter of a singl person will change something at FIA, even if it's good nd logical, but is not imposible... good luck!
to which address are you planning to send it?
N.B: a personal advise: if you want them to take you seriuos don't include your perfect score sytem 1-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0 .... (or put it at the end of the letter, as after that they'd not read further...

I've done the survey. It took about five minutes. I found that there was alot of cross referencing of questions. I don't believe that FIA will take too much notice of it.

I think the survey could change thing. The reason they have multiple choice is so at the end they can show spreadsheet of the percentages. You never know.
