Having bitched about Ferrari's behaviour in Germany despite the fact that the 'no team orders' rule is pretty stupid and pretty much unenforceable, it would be quite wrong of me not to admit that Vettel did break the rules. So instead I shall simply be totally ungracious and suggest that if it had been Alonso, there'd probably have been a small fine rather than a penalty that clearly affected the points standing at the end of the race.
My wife being away, I watched the race in the pub with friends, and I wasn't the only one to think of Monty Python's "Spiny Norman" ('...he had to nail my head to the floor, I had transgressed the unwritten rule...'), since none of us had any idea that such a rule existed.
But, on the plus side, Petrov is certainly one to watch; I voted for him, and as a Lotus fan from way back when, it was good to see both cars finish.
