I would vote for Kamui Kobayashi, but I think he was last year rookie of the year. So for 2010 my vote goes to Nico.

For me, a two horse between Hulkenberg and Petrov. I voted for Hulkenberg, because I think he did better with the car he had. Petrov did turn in some nice performances, notably Hungary and in Abu Dhabi, but the stand out rookie moment of the year was Hulkenberg's staggering pole in Brazil.
Hard to assess new drivers with the new teams, because the new teams are, well, rubbish.

My vote went to Vitaly Petrov for rookie of the year. Granted, Kamui Kobayashi deserves a mention but he did compete in the last few races so he had more experience than Petrov, thus my vote for Petrov.

I looked at this and was immediately going for Petrov, as he was the most solid and consistent of all the genuine 2010 'Rookies'.
However, in spite of not being a 2010 rookie, Kobayashi appeared as an option in the vote. For this reason alone, he got my vote, since I consider him to be the most exciting newcomer to F1 since Hamilton.
