Re: The 2022 Monaco Grand Prix Thread
For the first time, there will be no Thursday practice with the first practice session to be held on a Friday.
Charles Leclerc will be seeking redemption following his bad luck in Spain.
Max Verstappen had it all fall into place following his off early in the race. He won't have the same luck with the barriers ready to bite on the smallest error.
The same will be for Carlos Sainz. There just seem to be too many small errors which are hindering his chances of a win.
Mercedes finally found some balance but were still a long way from the leading Red Bulls when the chequered flag fell. Monaco is a different kettle of fish. Get to the front and control the pace.
Daniel Ricciardo still hasn't shone this season. Monaco could be his chance for redemption.
My shining star so far has been Valtteri Bottas. He is extracting so much performance out of what has been a lower middle of field car. My feeling is that he was so underrated while in the shadow ow Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes. He has real talent. Just a driver in the wrong era. He could have been one of the greats.

Re: The 2022 Monaco Grand Prix Thread
Yuki Tsunoda clipped the barrier going into the chicane at the tail end of Q1 bringing out the red flags. Teams lined up at the end of pit lane for one final opportunity to make it into Q2. Unluckiest of all was team mate Pierre Gasly who missed out on his last flying lap by less than a second as the time ended.
Q3 also ended in turmoil as Sergio Perez lost his Red Bull at Portier. Carlos Sainz was the next car on track and also spun trying to avoid the stricken Red Bull. The red flags were again thrown as the circuit was blocked. The session ended there as time was basically over.
