Kevin Magnussen didn't get a true lap in after running off track exiting Stowe.
The threat of rain altered the run plans for the teams and, when it came with 5 minutes remaining in the session, most drivers parked their cars. Some did venture out though for their practice starts. You never know what the conditions will be on race day.

The wet track hindered running for many teams.
Sergio Perez lost his Red Bull and ended in the gravel trap bringing out the red flag and ending his qualifying.
Max Verstappen also had a trip through the gravel trap damaging his floor. This upset the downforce of his Red Bull for the balance of qualifying.
Yuki Tsunoda again got the better of Daniel Ricciardo however both made it into Q2. Logan Sargeant steeped up his game and also made it into Q2.
Pole was decided in the final runs as first Lewis Hamilton and then George Russell taking the top spot.

This was a race that held your attention for the duration.
Starting in dry conditions with the threat of rain around lap 17, many teams did enough to hold their position.
Then the rains came and the decision on just when to come in for intermediates began.
Mercedes seemed to get it right while McLaren split their strategies over 2 laps for their cars. Oscar Piastri seemed to be the loser by dropping many seconds having to do another lap instead of the team double stacking.
Max Verstappen flew through most of the field but came up 3 seconds short of catching Lewis Hamilton for the win.

That was another great race which will get the part time viewers back to watch the next installment in Hungary.
