I was tempted to go for Perez, but it's unproven just how he'll cope with a top team.

Opted for Button, though it's very hard to say pre-season. He's got a calm head and being soft on the tyres could help with the new compounds. Most importantly, the McLaren looks tasty.

Sebastian Vettel. I don't see anyone else taking the title from him this year.

:D All right, chaps. It's ridiculous to even talk about the World Driver Championship a week before the first GP, but  I can't resist wondering how ANYONE could pick the following: Massa, Webber, Grosjean, Perez, Hulkenberg -- or any of the back markers and rookies.

That said: you know the best drivers of the current crop are, in alphabetical order: Alonso, Raikkonen, Vettel ...

and Raikkonen is NOT in a competitive car, but this year it looks like Alonso may be and Vettel may be in the same spot Alonso was in last year: dragging his car around the track by sheer will power

Button is a long shot and Lewis and Nico could surprise us all.

my pick? das wunderkind, Seb V.
