For us it's been quite a drought and I've heard the comments made by some of our previous drivers about the team's desire and commitment. What it boils down to is having the right driver in the seat. Ryan elevated the performance of the team immediately and he's just gotten better and better.

This is vindication. Some drivers who've raced for us in the past have said that this team doesn't have the will to win. It's all about having the right driver.

Is it just me, or did Rahal-Letterman Racing's Bobby Rahal, in discussing Sunday's win by Ryan Hunter-Reay at the Glen, just throw under the bus former RLR drivers Buddy Rice, Vitor Meira, Danica Patrick, Jeff Simmons, Scott Sharp and the late Paul Dana. (2 perverse ironies here......[1]Rahal has claimed the Ethanol sponsorship as his own on occasion over the past 2 years, forgetting that the sponsorship was the late Mr. Dana's! and [2]FWIW, the last quote above sounded as though as ran over the whole lot of 'em, went back, picked up Danica, and then threw her back under the bus.
