Are they following team orders to be team players?

Nice to see those times. It's always good to see Williams back up there. Although he was over a second slower than monty.

Having heard the radio message, I tend to agree with Flavio's statement. The fact that their radio transmissions are "open" lends weight to that 8)

But to me, all the drivers want to win, and are not going to just let themselves get passed, even if it means they are being "team players"....

Dont the teams have no say in what radio messages get transmitted, i always thought it was the director.....

to me it looks like they are following team orders and disguising it by calling them "team players"

Somehow I find it hard to believe that people completely ignored the fact the Raikkonen was allowed to pass Montoya in Hungary on the first lap. Hungary where it is impossible to overtake.

Oh I see, you didn't see it on camera and didn't hear it on their radio.

So you saw nothing and heard nothing. It must have been a superb move by Raikkonen :crush: :crush:

I am simply pointing to a very similar incident that many chose to ignore.

Perhaps many are just jealous of both Alonso for becoming the youngest ever champion (will become I know!!) and for the amazing success of Renault who could win the Constructors championship in only their 4th year since their return.

I agree. But are you now saying that McLaren do use team orders?
