Do you know what i read an article on the net somewhere stating that Michael Schumacher earns $50 million dollars a year and only gives his kids maria and the other one $1.47 pocket money or something like that.

He says " he wants his kids to learn you have to achieve to get, nothing comes easy"

I think he is doing the right thing.....(although a little generosity every now and then never hurt anybody)

Yes I can understand that only getting a mil a year would teach them nothing comes easy.

I unfortunately never got quite that much pocket money. Still managed to live though. Don't know how I made it through.

I agree it is something my father use to BANG on about o me. And he was right it is hard work out there.

My parents used a wooden plank to bang me on the head with....

besides its not like his kids are short of anything they need (including overseas vacations, horses, estate to play on ...........)

Schumacher is NOT tight.
He is mearly teaching his children to value of money. If he have them what ever they wanted they would be spoilt brats.
Besides, he donated US$20,000,000.00 (20 Million dollars US) to the tsunami relief fund from his own pocket. That is more then the government did.

At an age of less than 10 for both kids,how much pocket money do u actually need???
$1.47 a week(Almost Rupees 100), i think is more than enough for those kids!!!
I first got Rupees 100 a week when i was 18
