Gerhard Berger struck a deal with Red Bull for a 50% stake in the Toro Rosso Team.
It seems the former F1 driver can't get away from Formula 1. After racing in 210 Grands Prix driving for a number of teams including Ferrari, McLaren and Benetton he retired from racing in 1997. He then joined BMW in 1998 as their Motorsport director and left them in 2003.
Now he is part owner of the Toro Rosso team.

I am really looking forward to working with Gerhard again. We worked closely and successfully together at BMW and I am sure that Gerhard's experience and connections can help push the team forward to achieve a higher standard.
