Round of Bahrain (ferrarigirl wins!)
Even though the Bahrain Grand Prix is still over 3 weeks away, we have already received over 50 pick submissions for the 1st race since the competition was launched 2 days ago.
We thought we'll open this thread early so players can start sharing their picks with us and telling us why they think those picks will be the right ones.
So go ahead and submit your picks here then come back and paste your picks on this thread with some explanation why you think this pick is the right one.
Good luck!

Unless something dramatic happens in testing in the next two weeks, here are my picks:
Winner: Fernando Alonso - Shows Fisichella how it is done again
Second: Giancarlo Fisichella - Good driver, great car
Third: Jenson Button - Reliable car
Fourth: Rubens Barrichello - Still hasn't fully recovered from his role at Ferrari
Fifth: Juan Pablo Montoya - Better than Kimi nursing a car
Sixth: Jarno Trulli - Best Bridgestone runner
Seventh: Felipe Massa - He tries to make up time after Michael retires
Eighth: Jacques Villeneuve - Great driver, good car
Pole: Fernando Alonso - Naturally

Our group is called F1 idiots
BTW: Your picks and mine don't differ all that much.

Bahrain:
1. Fernando Alonso (reliable and fast )
2. Rubins Barrichello (been testing well)
3. Mark Webber (time to silence the critics )
4. Giancarlo Fisichella (another pitstop error )
5. Jenson Button (first blood to Rubins )
6. Nico Rosberg (everyone starting to notice yet? )
7. Michael Schumacher (not the tyres this time, so what happened? )
8. Jarno Trulli (reliable but not so fast)
Pole: Kimi Raikkonen (engine's good for one lap at least)
I reckon' both Maclarens will blow up during the race and although we'll never hear the end of it from JV, I think FA will have the rest licked.
