~ 3 French riders in MotoGP...That's as many French riders as Spanish riders. Go figure....
~ 250s: It was good last year, it's going to be astonishing this year. MotoGP is going to be amazing in 2-3 years time, when Lorenzo, Dovizioso and possibly Bautista join Toseland in MotoGP, with Pedrosa, Stoner, Hayden, Vermeulen and Hopper all having come good....
~ When Makoto Tamada left the Bridgestones to ride Michelins, he was complaining about not having any confidence in the front end.....Stoner crashed 5 times last year, each time losing the front.....Stoner is switching from Michelins to Bridgestones.....You do the math.
~ Both Suzukis to finish top 6......one of the Suzukis to finish top 3.
~ Barros to get a podium, or come very close......possibly as a result of a couple of people falling off.,...
~ Watch out for Pol Espargaro......He creamed the Spanish 125 championship this year, and did very well at Valencia....Is he another Pedrosa?
~ Is Bradley Smith Britain's Great White Hope?
~ Then there's three Americans in the Red Bull Rookies Cup.....Looks like there's a bunch of American kids who are coming through the ranks....All eyes are aimed at the AMA Superbikes, but the route to MotoGP could well be under the radar. Can't wait!

The mystery of Yamaha's MotoGP title sponsor could soon be solved with Fiat thought to be on the brink of completing a deal to back the factory M1s - and more specifically Valentino Rossi - for the 2007 season.
Although an Italian car manufacturer supporting a Japanese motorcycle racing team may seem an odd mix, Fiat is eager to use Rossi's enormous popularity to help sell its new 500 model in Italy - and, according to the Italian press, a two-year contract is now 'on the table' - although it is unclear if the thorny issue of using Rossi's image for advertising purposes is included in the offer, or if it simply involves acquiring the major naming rights on the race livery of Rossi, Colin Edwards and the Yamaha team.
