Pole time in Malaysia on Saturday was a 1:32.582 by Fernando Alonso
And the closest to that time is alonsofan
alonsofan was actually the only player who picked a pole time quicker than last year's.
Congratulations alonsofan on winning this round. Unfortunately your time isn't perfect or near perfect so we can't award a prize for you this time but you get bragging rights
Well done.

last year alonso was 1:33.193 in first qualfying, he will be faster this year against all predictions
fisichella's time in the sun finishes this weekend
cooool
always knew alonso would be quicker than last year but didnt expect him to be that fast
now i know my time isnt very close but in the other predict fastest you say if the time is within half a second you win a prize so why not this one
alonso gave fisichella first lesson today, tomorrow the second

That's a very valid point (Thanks to sgd I've been given an earful from Marketing)alonsofan wrote:now i know my time isnt very close but in the other predict fastest you say if the time is within half a second you win a prize so why not this one
I don't think 0.5 seconds is considered near perfect honestly so for both predict competitions a near perfect time has to be +/- 0.1 seconds for the winner to qualify for a prize. We'd love to keep it open but please understand that our budget is very limited and this is more for fun. However this will apply from next race. This race the 0.5 second applies and we'll award you a prize of a NewsOnF1 Smart Digital Clock with Alarm.
