Its time again for you to have a crack at the Pole time on Saturday so lets see who can be closest to the Pole time this round (hopefully it will be a dry session).
If someone gets a perfect match or near perfect, I'm sure we'll give away a prize
Please include the time to the 1000's of a second and the driver
For reference, the Pole time from 2004 was 1:33.074 (Michael Schumacher)
The Fine Print
One entry per user. Entries close prior to the start of first practice on Friday
The winner will be the one who manages to predict the closest time as well as the driver.
In case of two players predicting the same time and driver, the player who submitted earlier will be the winner.
In the case of the Pole time being too high or too low (wet conditions for example) compared to the times submitted, the time will need to be within 0.5 seconds of pole time to be declared a winner.

Poletime according to the FIA is the aggregate time of Q1 and Q2 - Are you looking for an average of the two?? My guess on the Poletime is:
3:07:711 by Jaun Pablo Montoya
But if there are two dry sessions, the Pole winner could be the driver with the seconds fastest time in Q1 and second fastest time in Q2.
For example:
Q1
--
Giancarlo Fisichella - 1:33:711
Juan Pablo Montopya - 1:33:800
Kimi Raikkonen - 1:33:900
Q2
--
Kimi Raikkonen - 1:33:970
Juan Pablo Montoya - 1:33:971
Giancarlo Fisichella - 1:34:001
Qualifying times
--
Juan Pablo Montoya - 3:07:711
Giancaro Fisichella - 3:07:712
Kimi Raikkonen - 3:07:870
So fastest qualifying time is - 1:33:711
Polesitter is averaging - 1:33:855
Fastest time of Polesitter is - 1:33:800
So exactly which time do I post??

Hi K-D,
For this prediction, you need to predict the pole time on Saturday (Q1) only as all the drivers go out on low fuel so it is as fair a comparison as it can be.

Why not Michael Schumacher K-D
Isn't he going to win from Pole
I'm going for Alonso, a 1:33.126

Michael Schumacher 1:33:573
The reason for picking MS is that he will have the benifit of a new engine while most of the other big names will be using a used engine.

But he'll have to use that engine in Bahrain too
(he doesn't know at that time that he won't finish in Malaysia

)

As we all know froma a copuple of seasons back, Juan Pablo ain't no slouch when it comes to qualifying, I think that he will most likely be the qualifying champion of the season. The F2004M is not capable of getting pole unless it rains.
MS will win regardles..
