13 April: Paul Ricard Test - Day 1 Wednesday testing action from Paul Ricard The first day of Lucky Strike B.A.R Honda's proposed three-day, two-car test at the Paul Ricard circuit in France got underway this morning (Wednesday) with Takuma Sato and Enrique Bernoldi on driving duties. In chassis 007-05, Takuma ran through some early set-up runs before evaluating further aerodynamic updates. He completed his scheduled morning programme running with a total of 70 laps. In the second chassis, 007-01, Enrique began with set-up work to find a good balance, before moving on to a tyre evaluation. He also finished his planned morning programme completing 100 laps. Takuma continued his evaluation of the new aerodynamic parts alongside a tyre evaluation in the afternoon session. He completed 137 laps in total today. Enrique continued to run through his tyre evaluation. He completed the full test programme and ran for a total of 182 laps – a team record for the most number of laps in one day.
