The
first day of our proposed three-day test at the Paul Ricard circuit in Southern France began this morning in warm and sunny
conditions. Anthony and Enrique were driving today in chassis 007-01 and 007-03 respectively.
Anthony spent the morning
session evaluating the new aerodynamic updates, completing a total of 63 laps. He continued the evaluation in the afternoon session,
running for a further 54 laps before an electrical fault caused damage to the engine. The engine had to be changed which brought his
afternoon running to a slightly early conclusion. Anthony completed a total of 117 laps today.
Enrique ran through a tyre
casing programme in the morning session completing short runs. He continued the evaluation in the afternoon over longer runs,
alongside a brake evaluation. Enrique�s final lap tally for the day was an impressive 171 laps.
