01 December: Barcelona Test Report - Day 2 It was another cold and sunny day in Barcelona for the second day of the Honda Racing F1 Team's first winter test. Anthony Davidson continued his work in the 2006 Concept car during the morning session, completing further shakedown running, along with a short aero evaluation. A trouble-free session saw him complete 47 laps. Jenson Button ran in the 2005 chassis 007-06. He completed an aero programme alongside a suspension evaluation. Jenson completed 58 laps in the morning session. The two drivers then switched cars for the afternoon session giving Jenson his first run in the Concept car and his first experience of the V8 engine in this configuration. He ran through a short tyre evaluation and completed 37 laps, setting a time of a 1m 17.30s. In total, the new eight cylinder Concept car completed an encouraging 84 laps during the day. Driving the 007-06 car, Anthony completed a further 30 laps after lunch, setting a time of a 1m 15.27s. Chassis 007-06 ran for a total of 88 laps today.
