Yup it was, We opened the pressie,, when they finally got it offen the semeye trailer........ :woohoo:
Mind you we have had to borrow a generator off the searchlight squad of the Local Militia, cos when we plugged it in, all the lights went out in the beergarden of the pub that burned down, and the coolrite stopped working. We didnt realise it also blacked out the railcrossing lights, and the XPT was running 5 minutes late. And Uncle Barney was running 5 minutes early in the fuel truck, past the Henderson's Santa Gertrudis property. We have stored a lot of precooked meat for the Chrissy BBQ  And the first carriage acted as a dam on the creek, so the boys from the Bushfire Brigade had a lot of nearby water to put the grassfire out.We are smoking the trout that kept blocking their pumps, there was just too many to freeze, plus the power kept going out. We got buckets of yabbies off the trout too. Bit sad that there was a new pilot on the mail run, he thought the grassfire was the landing lights of the strip.....still, Jason reckons he can use the Lycoming engine as a sea anchor for his mooring, n the local kids are making a canoe outa the fuel tank. Big Bob reckons he is gunna mack the best Windmill ever with the propellor  The 25 sheep that didn't get out of the way will make a nice change when we all get tired of beef, trout, n yabbies.
I reckon its the best Chrissy present I have ever had. I am really looking forward to sneaking back home to it when the they stop combing the hills for me.

There's more... the big wheel came off  went straight thru the smoke house,it caught fire, buggered the trout, the bloody locals chucked the buckets of yabbies in fresh water on the fire, which caused a power out, so the beef is going off, the Lycoming engine fell off the davit, clean thru the hull of Jason's boat, the prop was too heavy for the windmill which toppled over n landed on the beergrden gas bottles.......me, the kids n the dawgs reckin its a great view from up here in the hills.all those torches look like fairy lights down in the village, dunno how long the batteries will last in the laptop tho. Good thing we have some mutton, eh
