Zonta takes second with a 1:21.174. Just 0.114 seconds behind de la Rosa

Villeneuve actually sets a time faster than that of Massa!

Session is almost over. Neither Renault will set a time and nor will Trulli!

Session over. de la Rosa fastest ahead of Zonta and Button. M Schumacher, Klien, Sato, Raikkonen and Heidfeld make the top 8

Doornbos covered the most number of laps with 26.
Of the race drivers, Vitantonio Liuzzi covered the most with 22 laps.

For reference, the fastest time last year was a 1:20.084 by Michael Schumacher

Yes but times from practice don't mean much but it does look as if Villeneuve is finally getting to grips with the car. I think he has to deliver
It also looks that BAR are recovering.

McLaren look good too.

Can't wait to see the time Alonso sets in the second session. He has to set a time :shock: :shock:
