Alonso now 1 second behind Massa; Alonso tries to pass him............can't get it done; next corner, they're approaching Kovalainen.........both around Kovalainen...........Alonso's all over the back of Massa's Ferrari; this is getting great!!
Now on the backstraight, heading for the chicane...........Massa holds off Alonso through the chicane; dragrace now the frontstraight.........Massa holds him off!!!

First win for the 2-time WDC since Monaco..............
Massa arrives home in 2nd
Webber and Wurz fight it out for third and a spot on the podium...........Webber gets the podium spot, but just barely in front of Wurz, who finishes 4th for Williams
Coulthard 5th, Heidfeld 6th, Kubica 7th and Kovalainen 8th; Hamilton finishes out of the points in 9th......

Certainly VERY eventful race...
Congrats to Alonso. He did very well.
Massa: losing at the very last? Disappointing.
Webber and Coulthard: Great job. Both of em.
Wurz: Quite good. He started real slow but managed to pick up speed in time.
Kube and Heidi: They certainly took the opportunity. Could have been better. Then again considering Heidfeld's 6 (SIX!) stops he's still amazingly up there.
Kovalainen: Too big of a gamble. He didn't need that.
Hamilton: Too many mistakes; both driver errors and strategy problems. He drove just about okay.
Raikkonen: He's back to the old days. Nurburgring is perhaps the most hated circuit in his book.
Congrats to Alonso. He did very well.
