It doesn't look like it but only the team really know what they are doing. If they are indeed much faster, expect changes at the driver front soon

A 1:30.623 for Wurz in the final minute but Zonta may even go faster!

Session is over and the top 8 are: Wurz (1:30.623), Zonta, Heidfeld, Montoya, Raikkonen, Webber, Barrichello and Alonso.

Zonta had the most laps with 33. Of the race drivers Fisichella had the most with 27

Michael Schumacher and Patrick Friesacher had the least number of laps with 5 each

For reference, fastest time on Friday last year was a 1:29.355 by Kimi Raikkonen

looking at the speed traps looks like for McLaren will be very important to Q ahead of Renault... expect people stuck behind Renault again... :?

I missed the full coverage, but did Webber stop a second time that sessions?

Webber spun off and got stuck in the gravel.

The Williams is looking here though!

Alonso is looking good on the speed traps!
We don't know for sure that Renault will struggle again with tyres. Toyota recovered from that and it was only Monaco that Renault struggled at and that was likley due to the heavier fuel load they took on after the safety car.

i meant.. look at the traps...and at the times... in race they will be VERY hard to overtake still doing slow times... I don't talk about tyres, which would indeed be an issue too...
So for McLaren and Willimas (which look fast here) is very important to Q ahead of Renault... I expect bambinos and BAR stuck behind Renault...
