I also was wondering why the fuel flap hinges at the rear? It is really odd to hinge it where they do on the Red Bulls.

Strange how Massa gets slammed for being passed by Nick after a mistake trying to pass Lewis.
Strange that nothing gets said about FA being out driven and passed Nick, and his lack of effort to get the position back.

Oops, I probably just disturbed the hornets

The fuel flap is electronically linked to the pit lane speed limiter. When the pit lane speed limiter is engaged, the fuel flap opens and displays its brightly coloured inner side.......then the marshalls know exactly when the limiter was engaged and can deal out penalties to naughty boys.

No doubt one of the engineers was sired by the designer of the original "suicide doors" with rear hinges

Yes I did know that but surely there would be other ways to cope with that. Fuel flaps seem to cause a lot of greif. Though as was pointed out they should be hinged on the other side if they must have them.

Seriously though I believe that is the cause of toyotas woes, 2 totaly different driving styles. How can the engineers design for that? get rid of one of the drivers (and I have no favorites there) and get a new driver with a similar driving style to the remaining one and the car will develop in the right direction.

I wouldnt have thought the slight differences in driving style were out of proportion against the customizing options of the modern F1 cars.

I also believe that neither FERNANDO/LEWIS nor FELIPE/KIMI have the same style...

Maybe RALF wants a more perfect car while JARNO is simply throwing it around regardless. Both approaches are understandble....

Both have the same right to ask for top performance - the team and the driver.
