compared to the possibilities, I don't care if he never drives a car again, as long as he can lead a normal life with his family. Losing an eye leads to severe impediments.Ed wrote:There is no confirmed news about his left eye although his doctor has been quoted that his eye is fine.
Latest on Massa from Barrichello is that he has been moved to a normal room and is doing really well.

OK, so.....
I am not allowed to fly a pessna (or any other aircraft other than radio controlled)
I wont be able to get a Super license (fat chance of that ever happening anyway)
I am however allowed to drive
I can still ride a bike
I can still run
I can hold things in 2 hands (usually a beer in one and something else in the other.)
I can swim
I can still participate in most sports
I cut the lawn with a push mower.
I have a Wife and Kids
I think I lead a pretty normal life.
This is weird, I cant think of any thing where losing an eye has been an impediment of any sort, let alone severe.. Oh wait, I know, I don't get the full effect of 3D movies.......

I had to wear an eye patch for a week. Don't drive !!. (Admittedly it was my master eye)

The latest on Massa is that he is recovering well and is expected to fly back to Brazil this weekend.
His doctor is pleased with his progress and expects a full recovery
